Yiting Hu, Classical Pianist

Yiting Hu, a pianist hailing from China, has performed extensively across various nations. She is currently pursuing her master’s degree in piano performance at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts under the tutelage of Demitri Vorobiev.

From the enchanting elegance of classical compositions to the rhythmic vitality of jazz, Yiting effortlessly navigates through the rich landscapes of diverse musical genres. Performances unfold with the timeless beauty of classical masterpieces, offering a glimpse into the genius of composers like Bach, Beethoven, Chopin and Samuel Barber.

In Yiting’s belief, the pianist should endow every note with meaning and significance, bringing audiences closer to the nature of music infinitely. Her sincerity towards music and the quality of diligence always inspire her to create high quality sounds, helping audiences enjoy the most primitive and purest charm of music.

Yiting’s musical performances have left their mark in various countries. She has held a series of recitals in China, including seven Final Examination Reporting concerts and a Graduation recital in the Studio Building Auditorium Hall and the Music Hall of the Tianjin Conservatory of Music. In addition, she also worked with the vocal department of the Tianjin Conservatory of Music, performing collaborative piano in five Department of Voice Final Examination Concerts. Also, she has performed as soloist with the UNCSA Wind Ensemble and the Miao Yin Chamber Orchestra in the US and China separately.
